We design and build really special homes—beautiful, sustainable, and indelibly yours. To us, that's what home is all about. We unite gorgeous architectural design with exceptional energy efficiency and green construction practices, so every home we build or renovate is a lasting source of comfort and inspiration. We're majority women-owned, and based in Portland, Maine.

Building in an environmentally sustainable way that protects the earth is something we care deeply about. Minimizing carbon footprint and "building green" is at the center of everything we do—from utilizing advanced insulation practices for extreme energy efficiency, to choosing low-carbon and renewable materials like locally-sourced cedar.

We love living in Maine, and aim to leave an environmental legacy we're proud of.

Our trophy case is getting crowded. Most recently we were honored to receive awards from the AIA for our Woods + Water project, and from Fine Homebuilding as the builder of Evergreen House, their 2020 “Best Home of the Year.” We're proud of that for sure, but honestly the thrill of seeing a client walk into their new home—in every sense of the word—is still the best reward for us.
