Lara Santoro came to us with a clear vision for updating her well-worn Portland condominium. An accomplished journalist who has lived abroad, she was inspired by the clean, minimalist interiors of Europe, and has an adventurer's openness to experimenting with contemporary materials.

The result is a glamorous and cozy home renovation, sparkling with carefully chosen textures and colors, including dramatic black tile bathrooms that offer a stunning contrast to the rest of the interior.
